Experian requires that clients who choose to use a third party to access, transmit, store, or process Credit Reports (and other regulated data), only use third parties who have undergone an annual Experian Third Party Security assessment.
Experian strongly believes information is an important asset and we take the safeguarding of our assets seriously – within our infrastructure as well as where stored and processed externally. The Experian Third Party Security assessment program allows us to obtain reasonable assurance that Technical Providers have implemented the necessary and expected security safeguards to protect consumer information.
An Experian Third Party Security assessment is required in cases where licensed software used to access Experian Provided Data is not installed at the client location. Please use the link below to view the list of Technical Providers that have undergone an Experian Third Party Security assessment. If you have a third party you would like to use, who is not on the list, please ask them to contact tps.na@experian.com.
