When the COVID-19 pandemic threatened the physical and financial health of millions around the world, we stepped up to help. Launched in December 2020, United for Financial Health works to provide greater access to fair and affordable credit, homeownership, and entrepreneurship for people in marginalized communities. Operation HOPE

We’re helping people from racial and ethnic minority groups understand their finances and help improve their credit. We’ve reached more than 4.6 million people this year through this U.S.-based partnership. To reinforce this commitment, Experian COO Craig Boundy joined the HOPE Global Board of Advisors in April 2021.

The year 2020 was a year many of us will never forget. As we continue to navigate this pandemic, Experian® has taken a stance to help those in need. In an effort to empower vulnerable consumers across the globe, especially those further marginalized by COVID-19, we launched United for Financial Health. This effort will help preserve housing through the Home Preservation Grant, support small businesses, and offer career and higher education development programs. Stay tuned as we continue to partner with some amazing nonprofit organizations to bring the United for Financial Health initiative to life across America. We’re just getting started.

Global outreach

United for Financial Health seeks to increase financial health for consumers worldwide with a focus on underserved communities through education, tools and services.

SaverLife

As part of its mission to encourage people from low-income backgrounds to make saving a habit, SaverLife in the U.S. has used our financial education resources to reach 384,000 people with tailored content offering guidance on improving their credit profiles.

Sebrae

Fostering small business recovery from the economic shock of COVID-19 in Brazil, Serasa Experian and Sebrae created an online financial education and business management content platform, reaching 4.6 million people since March 2021.

National Numeracy

Half of working adults in the UK have low numeracy skills. We supported National Numeracy’s Number Confidence Week to help people improve their numeracy confidence and empower them to manage their money better. The program has supported 168,000 people so far.

The Mix

The Mix is the United Kingdom’s leading digital support service for people under 25. We’re the lead supporter of its new online Money Hub, which aims to support ethnic minorities with financial education. This effort has reached over 660,000 people so far.
